Answer: One, two, three, one, two, three...

This Month

Meeting: Saturday November 20, 2004 5:30 PM. Yale Avenue Christian Church.

And its election time again! That means you should come to the meeting to be sure you get the slate of officers you want! (It might be a move of self-defense too!)

From the Prez....

Hey, here it is November already. That means it's time for elections. And, of course, you know that means that you have to show up at the November meeting on the 20th to keep from getting elected to something. You have to come and protect yourself, see?

I wasn't able to get down to the Deep Fork Festival in Chandler earlier this month due to a last minute conflict. I sure hope some of our members made it down there and can give us a report on it. Winter Festival will be in early February 2005, and the String Fling put on by the Ozark Wilderness Dulcimer Club will be on the last Saturday in February. Check out the Ozark Folk Center website for info on the Dulcimer Jamboree next April. They have expanded it some, and it will now run from Tuesday through Saturday. Details are on their website at http://www.ozarkfolkcenter.com.

Also, don't forget that Summerfest (previously in the Carthage MO area) will be in Joplin next year on July 8-9, with pre-fest extended workshops on the 7th. There will be some info soon on http://www.summerfestmo.org about that one. We're sure glad that Summerfest MO is alive and well and back on the map for 2005.

We'll see you on Saturday! Bring some munchies, and come enjoy the music with us.

Dennis.

Its another small note!

Sorry.. Once again I find myself out of time, and no free moments to put out this months newsletter again. Too much consulting workload, it seems if I am awake the moment has been sold to somebody! Ugh.. little time for music now.. that can get old, music is really a large part of my life.

I hope to be at the meeting though, no promises!

Dana
